Daylights savings

Wednesday, November 9th, 2005

For some time ago it was time again, reset every clock you possess and hope you did it right so you don’t miss school or work the next day. So why do we do this? Earlier when we hade an agricultural society this was done to get more daylight in the early morning when the work day started. In the modern society this is no more necessary in my honest opinion. This is rather a problem for the society because many suffer of depression during the winter time due to the lack of light. Do we really need daylights savings any more or is it just a problem for the society? Throw me a line!

Last week the papers finally arrived with the snail-mail, the confirmation from Bolagsverket (Swedish Companies Registration Office) for my application to register a new company. The name of the company is Viba IT Handelsbolag and I’m starting it with Bengt Lundberg. We have been working together for ten months now on the music community, Vi Musiker. and we have made plans for several additional sites.

How to (not) make your own kebab

Thursday, May 19th, 2005

Yesterday me and my girlfriend decided to make our own kebab for dinner. The easy way is to just fry it and eat it on a plate with fries or something, but since this is the easy way it was never an option. We decided to try our own kebab roll, i.e. a pizza dough filled with kebab, hot sauce, lettuce, cucumber, onion and tomatos rolled into a roll.

We started by finding the recipe for the pizza dough, mixed it and let it rise. During the risetime we started to fry the kebab, prepared the filling and after that we rolled out the dough and put it in the owen. At this stage I was really hungry. Lucky for me the pizza dough didn’t took long to finish in the owen. Took it out and let it cool down. Now I felt like I could eat anything, and I suppose that was good, because the pizza dough was hard… It was impossible to roll it around anything! A big disapointment, but a man have got to eat…

So, what have we learned? Use the correct dough (or way of preparing it) if your going to make your own kebab roll.
